LPI, a steel fabricating company under the trade name "STEELER" was founded in 1966. The company's main objective was to utilize its steel fabricating technology in product development for the local market while becoming leading pioneer of innovate steel product and storage systems in the region.

With today's rapid economic and industrial expansion, a greater demand exists for systematic, space-saving and cost-effective storage and retrieval system for applications from inventory documents to warehousing materials, Almost 3 decades have passed since LPI introduced its first batch of library book shelves.
Development has been progressive and LPI rapidly expanded the range of various type of storage shelves for libraries, mobile shelving system for offices, hospitals and a good range of office storage facilities. Later the product line was expanded into supermarket and consumer-goods shelving which subsequently led the company into the manufacturing of shelves and racking systems in many industrial factories warehouses.
